The East Arm Rowing Club is pleased to host the 9th Annual Greenwood Lake Challenge Regatta, a 500m dash up the East Arm of Greenwood Lake. This is a open event for women and men, masters and juniors, of all ability levels. Club events include singles (sculls, recreational singles and Aldens), doubles, 4+s and 8+s. Although this is a USRA registered and officiated regatta, the emphasis is on friendly competition. Safety, fairness and fun are our top priorities!
The Greenwood Lake Challenge Regatta is also a community event for local organizations to field 8+ novice teams who compete for the coveted "Sullivan Cup".

Please bring signed waivers and entry fees for all participants to the regatta
Entry Fees: 1x - $20, 2x - $30, 4+/4x - $50, 8+ $70 (Checks payable to East Arm Rowing Club)
Final race schedule will appear on Wednesday May 17

Winners of each event will receive medals

Coxswains Meeting: 9am
Racing Starts: 10am
Rules:
USRA Rules of Rowing will apply
Masters Handicaps will be used in singles and doubles events
All reasonable attempts will be made to pair teams/racers by boat, age, and ability
Bow Balls are required
Note: The streets in Greenwood Lake are very narrow - please do not park on the street! Parking for spectators and participant over-flow will be provided in the town parking lot or other designated facility. Parking rules will be stricktly enforced by the Greenwood Lake Police.
