Delaware Regatta 2005
Congratulations to
our teams rowing in the Howard Smith Diamond
State Regatta, July 24,Delaware,
Women's 8+
Suzie,SueB,Sue C, Gunnel,Linda D,Kelly ,Jean,Katy,cox
Stan,with a time of 4:06.6 became 11 out of 22
teams, racing in the C-J age group.If we include
the total participants in the Women's 8+,results
from the A-B group, then our team was
19/33.Considering the difficulties this team had
to get prepared this is a very good result.
Men's 4+,Steve
H,Simon,Steve S,Alex ,cox Sue B,racing in the
C-J group with a time of 3:48.7,became
12/25,or including the results of the A-B group
18/42.
Mixed A-C
8+,Suzie,Gunnel,Sue C,Katy,Michael,Jeff,Steve
H,Alex,cox Richard,with a time of 3:47.3 became
14/19.or 18/29 total participants.
Mixed 2x, Stan,Jean
with a time of 4:38.1 became 21/22, racing in
the C-J age goup,or 29/31 total participants.
This was a huge
regatta with practically every team present from
the eastern seaboard area.We
all enjoyed it and I can only imagine what the
results would/could have been if we have started
to practice a little earlier.
