The Warwick Valley High School Crew Team was formed in 2003 and started with a dozen members. Today, we are proud to have a roster of 40 rowers. Our team competes in races throughout the Hudson Valley during the spring and practices on the water at Greenwood Lake. Indoor practices on rowing machines (ergs) take place at the high school.

Our members are proud to be part of the East Arm Rowing Club in Greenwood Lake as well as the Hudson Valley Rowing League. Our very active parent booster club handles many aspects of the club’s operation which includes: fundraising, organizing food for races and much more. We welcome all parents’ participation.

May 17, 2023:Warwick Crew had a successful regatta at the NY State Scholastic Rowing Championships, held May 13 and 14 in Saratoga Springs. The Warwick Crew Girls Varsity Straight Four, crewed by Warwick High School seniors Sasha Blanchard, Isabelle Flores, Olivia Nosarzewski, and Lizbeth Varela-Cordero finished first to become NYS Champions. This is the last time these girls will attend the NY State Scholastic Championships and they are all very proud that their years of dedication enabled them to bring home the gold.
Warwick’s future looks bright as the Girls Freshmen U16 8+ crew rowed an extremely close race to earn a silver medal, impressive for their first NYS Championship regatta and only their second race as a team! Congratulations to Ariana Ovanesian (coxswain), Annika Castillo, Abigail Kane, Mya Chocallo, Ava Roome, Leila Morris, Kate Castellano, Riley Seijas, Natalie Houston. Rounding out the results, the Boys Varsity Straight Four crewed by sophomore Beren Munkatchy and juniors Nicholas Rivera, Garrett Houston, and Killian Bauman rowed to a 3rd place finish.
